David Lemieux (37-3, 30KOs) made waves recently with a sensational KO of Curtis Stevens on March 11, 2017. The KO immediately had boxing fans skeptical on whom can be next for Lemiuex. The person next is none other than Marcos Reyes (35-4, 26KOs).
Lemieux vs Reyes should be a scheduled 10 rounder and part of the televised showcase.
Also David Lemieux being added to the card could possibly be an audition for the winner of Canelo vs Chavez Jr. That’s of course of negotiations aren’t made for a super fight in September with Gennady Golovkin. So what I’m getting at is David Lemieux is a plan B option for Canelo if Canelo should win May 6, 2017.
The card is looking stacked for the fans. Also scheduled to appear is Joseph Diaz, the always exciting Lucas Matthysse , and can’t forget the main event Saul Alvarez versus Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
