Within 1:45 of the fifth round Deontay Wilder ended Gerald Washington’s night with a TKO.

Gerald Washington was performing well in the first 4 rounds. Many in their eyes had Washington winning through four. Then the “Bronze Bomber” changed that with a powerful right hand that led to the end of the fight.

Is Deontay Wilder now holding back on releasing his “Bronze Bombs?” A lot to wonder when you see an incredible knockout artist lose rounds or possibly taken them off. This also leads to criticism of Deontay’s skill set. He was acceptable to the jab and is still showing his wild side when swinging wide leaving himself open to counters.

The fans want to see a Wilder match-up with whomever wins between Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko, but it seems like we will be receiving Deontay Wilder vs Joseph Parker next.

Deontay Wilder’s now impressive record reads 38-0, 37KOs.
